How to calculate Reverb fees
Let’s say your item is sold for $90 and you charged $10 for shipping. The sales tax is 5%.
A normal seller using Reverb Payments
Reverb selling fee → ($90 + $10) * 0.05 = $5
Sales tax (charged to buyer) → ($90 + $10) * 0.05 = $5
Payment processing fee → (($90 + $10 + $5) * 0.0319) + $0.49 = $3.84
Total fees → $5 + $3.09 = $8.09
A preferred seller using Reverb Payments
Reverb selling fee → ($90 + $10) * 0.05 = $5
Sales tax (charged to buyer) → ($90 + $10) * 0.05 = $5
Payment processing fee → (($90 + $10 + $5) * 0.0299) + $0.49 = $3.63
Total fees → $5 + $2.88 = $7.88
Any seller using PayPal
Reverb selling fee → ($90 + $10) * 0.05 = $5
Sales tax (charged to buyer) → ($90 + $10) * 0.05 = $5
Payment processing fee → (($90 + $10 + $5) * 0.0349) + $0.49 = $4.15
Total fees → $5 + $4.15 = $9.15
